Today, its well-kept pitch and inviting pavilion make it a local gem for cricket enthusiasts of all levels — no league commitments or formal registration required.
The club fields two Saturday league sides, a midweek evening team, and a friendly Sunday side, with matches throughout the season in the Thomas Carroll Conference League and the Vale of Glamorgan Midweek League. Annual tours, social events, and standout fixtures — including a match at Lord’s in 1996 — make Barry Wanderers not just a place to play, but a place to belong.
